D.C. may not be the biggest sports city, but there’s plenty of revelry (and food) to be had if you know where to look. Here are the best places to watch this year’s Super Bowl, or, if you’re staying home, the best spots for takeout.

Where To Watch the Super Bowl

Blackfinn is D.C.’s official Chiefs’ bar, while Town Tavern is home to the “D.C. Niner Empire.” If you’re feeling more neutral, spots like Hook Hall and Jack Rose let you reserve your spot (for a fee) so you don’t need to get there at noon. Meanwhile, Franklin Hall and Ivy & Coney are free-for-alls.

If you're mostly there for Taylor and maybe a little halftime action, check out Union Pub’s “Tayl-gate” or All Purpose’s “Taylor’s Version” brunch.

Where To Get Super Bowl Takeout

🌶️ For Something With Spice: Mi Vida

This Mexican restaurant’s game party pack ($115) includes guacamole, adobo-rubbed chicken wings, carnitas tacos, and carne tacos.

🥪 For When You Need a Giant Hoagie: Bread Furst

Get a 4-foot hoagie off this bakery’s special Super Bowl menu. They have Philly cheesesteak, Italian classic, chicken cutlet, and more sandwiches, all on homemade loafs.

🍖 For the Meat Lovers: 2Fifty Texas BBQ

If you order this, please invite me. Game day trays (starting at $100) include whole wagyu brisket, pork belly burnt ends, smoked chicken, sweet potato mash, and more.

🥦 For the Meat Haters: Sticky Fingers Diner

This vegan spot’s Super Bowl specials feature include Southern fried “chicken” wings, nachos, and “cheesy” mac, as well as a combo named “The Swiftie” with all her fast food favorites made vegan.

🍗 For When You Just Want a Bucket: Honeymoon Chicken

Load up your roster with Buffalo-style wing & drum buckets, honey butter rolls, and all the dipping sauces you could want.
