The Commanders may have fallen short of the Super Bowl, but that doesn’t mean we can’t cheer from the sidelines. Whether you're hosting a watch party, watching alone, or just tuning in to the Kendrick Lamar halftime show and nothing else (🙋), make it easy and grab takeout. These are the best deals we’ve found for groups big and small.

Bluejacket (Navy Yard)

This brewery has a couple of take-home packages, the largest of which can feed 15 and includes 50 chicken wings, house-made tater tots, chips and dip, 25 sliders, and pretzel bites. (Serves 5 - 15)

Think Chipotle, but better. Their Ultimate Taco Bar package includes pollo asado and dry chile-rubbed carne asada tacos, homemade chips, guacamole, and spiced Mexican rice. (Serves 10 - 40 people)

2Fifty BBQ (Hyattsville and Penn Quarter)

You can get platters of various sizes at this beloved Texan BBQ joint. They all include a mix of ribs, hot honey wings, smoked sausages, sides, pickles, and of course, a whole bottle of BBQ sauce. (Serves 4 - 15)

Sticky Fingers Diner (Takoma Park)

This completely plant-based diner has four different options, but my favorite is The Swiftie, which features Taylor’s go-to fast food items like cheeseburgers, chocolate milkshakes, “chicken” tenders, and funfetti cake. (Serves 2-3)

Colada Shop (Multiple Locations)

Craving something other than wings? This Cuban cafe’s take-out platters include empanadas, yucca, plantain chips, sliders, and a churro platter. Maybe add on a box of the classic Cuban hot chocolate, just a thought. (Serves 6 - 12)

Matt & Tony’s (Alexandria)

This family-friendly neighborhood restaurant will serve its classic take-home BBQ platter for Super Bowl Sunday. It includes BBQ ribs, a half chicken, collards, mac n’ cheese, cornbread, and white sauce for $85. (Serves 4)

Astro Beer Hall (Multiple Locations)

Winner of the cutest Super Bowl combo, Astro’s sends you home with mini football donuts, along with pretzels, mac n’ cheese bites, wings, and loaded nachos. They also have a dine-in deal: $20 for a pitcher of beer. (Serves 4 - 8)

Alfreda (Dupont)

The Super Bowl package from this new upscale pizza joint is a win on every level. Shrimp cocktail, garlic bread, Caesar salad, and three different pizzas (including one veg option), all for $95. (Serves 10 - 15)
