We may not be able to afford to go to Paris, but we will be cheering on team USA from the sidelines (a.k.a a good dive bar). Luckily, D.C. is going all out on the deals and specials to celebrate. All available from July 26 - Aug. 11.

Olympics-Themed Food & Drink

Astro Doughnuts, “Olympic Doughnuts”

Get a ½ dozen box of Olympics-themed doughnuts adorned with the Olympic rings and medal decorations. Half are filled with black cherry jam and half with peach compote, all finished with cream cheese glaze.

Thirsty Crow, “Olympic Rings”

Nosh on Chef James Wozniuk’s Fried “Olympic Rings,” made with tempura batter, tamarind salt, and curry ketchup.

Lapop, “Afghan in Paris” Cocktail

Head to AdMo for this drink inspired by the French dessert Bananas Flambe, made with cognac, dry curacao, creme de banana, and cardamom bitters.

Lutèce, “Bronze, Silver, & Gold” Cocktails

Each cocktail has a bronze, silver, or gold base spirit. I’m going for the bronze cocktail with brandy, lime, grapefruit, salted honey, and angostura bitters

Deals and Happy Hours:

You can snag a 20% discount on your meal when you show this flyer dining in. Or use the code "OLYMPICS" for 20% off takeout at their sister restaurant Sushi Hachi.

Get two slices of Andy’s Pizza and a draft beer for $10 during prime-time Olympics coverage. Or get a “medal-winning flight” of Atlas’ award-winning beers throughout the games.

This Dupont dive is running happy hour for two weeks straight, with $10 burgers and fries, $4 Coors Lights, and $6 Sun Cruiser Hard Teas.

This Capitol Hill sandwich joint will be opening early at 9 a.m. each day with breakfast sammies and will have an ongoing happy hour for the entirety of the games.

Happy hour will be running from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. during the Olympics with $8 sausages and $10 liters of house-brewed beers.

Olympics-Inspired Menus:

This special three-course tasting menu is a nod to Olympic surfing with ahi tuna crudo, prawns in coconut sauce, and banana po’e. ($40)

Enjoy dishes inspired by the south of France and North Africa, like the “Farm Egg Omelette” with wild mushroom, elderberry, brioche, and crunchy salt, or the “Chesapeake Striped Bass En Croute” with spiced choron sauce and dandelions. [$58]
