In his first 100 days, President Trump has brought huge changes to D.C. Use this podcast playlist to deep dive into Trump's most impactful local changes over the past three months, and what we can expect going forward.

Last month, Trump created a task force to “make the nation's capital safe again,” by cracking down on crime, monitoring immigration, and “beautifying” the city. It doesn’t include a single local leader, but, here’s why it doesn’t completely take away D.C.’s autonomy, at least not yet.

Trump’s takeover of D.C.’s Kennedy Center has made it a hotspot of political tension. Many artists have cancelled their performances and most recently, WorldPride pulled its programming over LGBTQ safety concerns. The Washington Post’s Philip Kennicott tells us how the Kennedy Center has changed under Trump, and what we can expect next.

Amidst the mass layoffs, many Washingtonians are cutting their dining budgets and some are even looking to get their next gig in the restaurant industry. Axios’ Anna Spiegel breaks down how Trump’s policies affect the local restaurant scene.

NBC4’s Mark Segraves explains the Mayor’s office’s plan to address the new challenges facing D.C.’s economy and how to take advantage of D.C.’s resources for laid off federal workers.

Trump’s federal downsizing is putting a lot of high profile federal buildings on the market. One potential cluster of them sits south of the Mall and stretches towards the Wharf. Now, D.C. planners are wondering if they could make it into a whole new neighborhood.

The DMV has become front and center in the Trump administration’s campaign to deport undocumented immigrants. Atenas Burrola Estrada of the Amica Center for Immigrant Rights explains what it means for D.C. and what people need to know about their rights.

Not directly Trump related, but the emboldened GOP in Congress are stalling on plugging a $1.1B hole they created in D.C.’s local budget, and it’s forced the city to make some cuts. Reporter Martin Austermuhle explains what’s on the chopping block.
