With help from an expertly assembled panel of D.C.’s premier thinkers, we’re highlighting six individuals who have elevated our city in 2023 in the following categories:

  • Politics
  • Food and Drink
  • Literature
  • Music/Performing Arts
  • Sustainability/Environment
  • Business

Meet the chef behind the most mind-blowing dish of the year. Hear from the sustainability expert revolutionizing the District’s future. Learn about the fresh faces changing politics, and the business leaders galvanizing industries across our city.

We’ll profile them all through a special series on our award-winning podcast and Hey DC newsletters in early December, but first, we want YOUR take.
